RUNIST

Runist is a route creator, sports tracking app for runners in Istanbul. It is very similar to Endomondo, but much more localized and optimized for Istanbul. It gives people options that they can choose from, and also lets them create their own routes. The app will use GPS information for tracking the runner and will provide feedback like pace, distance etc. The routes will have information about how much slope there is on the way, if there is a view of the sea, if there is traffic, if there are historical sights, how much calories they would burn, which cafes they can stop by and have a drink while meeting with other runners. It will include photos from the routes, information about how to get to the routes (this is a big deal in Istanbul). Users will have challenges that they can complete and win prizes from sports brands. The app will have connections to social media accounts like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Foursquare etc.
