The main idea of EEpay team is to create the fast, accessible way of paying. EEpay itself is a point-of-sale terminal with a new, innovative system of palm vein scanning based on Palm Vein Recognition System patterned by Fujitsu. EEpay: The device is composed of a sensor screen, that allows to a user know what goes on; the card-reader for registering in the system as a first time user; and the Palm Vein scanner which scans veins of a palm and encrypts it into data, with the lowest among all biometric and usual security measures False Acceptance Rate - 0.00008%. Process of transaction: A costumer places his/her hand upon the scanner, so the Palm Vein Reader can scan it. Each individual’s biometric record is coupled with a unique identifier. The system first searches the database for the identifier and then verifies that the biometric from the input device matches the individual’s stored biometric assigned to that particular identifier.
