Comicspoon is a vertical social platform where the entertainment content is gathered. We have realised that these contents are distrubuted across the web forcing users to follow each one of sources seperately. Supporting this fragmentation, new artists open their own blogs or facebook groups to show their work and gain popularity because there isn't any entertainment platform for them to show their work, besides portfolio sites which are not visited by casual users. We aim to build a central platform merging social media dynamics and user habits where all artists are gathered to show their works, and casual users browse them for entertainment purposes. We will have comics, comic strips, motion comics, funny memes and videos as content in our portal. We believe the number of potential customers we can reach is satisfactorily large. Comicspoon is currenty beta and we are continiously improving it. It is currently live only as a Facebook app, but we will migrate to comicspoon.com soon.
